About Belize City

Belize City sits on the Caribbean coast at the mouth of Haulover Creek, facing the Belize Barrier Reef and serving as the country's largest urban center. It is busy, compact, and practical rather than polished, with colonial-era streets, waterfront views, markets, and a strong Creole character.
