Brisbane Airport (BNE) is located in the state of Queensland, within the Brisbane Airport suburb of the City of Brisbane, around 12 kilometres north-east of the city centre. The original Eagle Farm aerodrome opened in 1925, while the current airport site began operations in 1988.
