About Eilat

Eilat sits at Israel's southern tip on the Red Sea, framed by desert mountains and clear blue water. It is a compact resort city known for beaches, diving, year-round sunshine, shopping areas and a relaxed holiday atmosphere.

The city is linked to central Israel by Highway 90 and long-distance buses from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Beersheba. Ramon Airport, north of Eilat, serves domestic and some international flights, with shuttle and taxi connections into the city.
