About Guanghan

Guanghan is a county-level city in Sichuan Province, set on the fertile Chengdu Plain between Chengdu and Deyang. Compact, historic and increasingly urban, it combines the easy pace of a smaller Sichuan city with close access to one of western China's largest metropolitan areas.

The city is well connected by road and rail, with convenient links to Chengdu, Deyang and other parts of Sichuan. Guanghan's importance reaches far beyond its size because of Sanxingdui, one of China's most remarkable archaeological discoveries. Within Guanghan, getting around is usually simple by bus, taxi, ride-hailing, electric bike or walking in central areas, while intercity buses and trains make short trips to Chengdu and Deyang straightforward.
