About Hammerfest

Hammerfest lies on Kvaløya in Finnmark, far north in Arctic Norway, and is often presented as one of the world's northernmost towns. It is a compact coastal community shaped by the Barents Sea, open skies, fishing, energy activity and a strong sense of life at the edge of Europe.
