About Moa

Moa is a coastal city in eastern Cuba, in Holguin Province, set between the Atlantic shore and a rugged green interior. Known for its nickel industry, it has a practical, working-city character, but its setting gives it a strong sense of place, with mountains, rivers, and sea close together.

The city is connected by road to Holguin, Baracoa, and other eastern Cuban destinations, though travel times can be long because of winding terrain.
