Odesa International Airport is located in Odesa Oblast, within Odesa District, about 7 kilometres southwest of central Odesa. Opened to civil air traffic in 1961, the airport has traditionally been operated by Odesa International Airport LLC and has served as one of southern Ukraine's key aviation gateways, supporting business travel, tourism and regional connectivity along the Black Sea coast.
