Port of Spain sits on the northwest coast of Trinidad, facing the Gulf of Paria and backed by the Northern Range. Trinidad and Tobago's capital is compact, busy and coastal, mixing government offices, commerce, colonial-era architecture, parks and a strongly Caribbean urban rhythm.
