What You Need to Know if You’re New to Flying
1. Pre-flight Preparations:
- Ticket and ID: You must have your flight ticket and ID document (ID card, passport, etc.) ready before your flight. Your e-ticket or mobile ticket should be available in your app.
- Check-in Procedures: You can save time at the airport by checking in online 24 hours before your flight. You can complete this process via your airline’s website or mobile app.
2. What You Need to Do at the Airport:
- Baggage: Ensure your cabin baggage complies with size and weight limits. Keep your baggage tag when handing over your luggage at the airport.
- Security Checks: Remember that liquids and gels must not exceed 100 ml, and that electronic devices must be placed in a separate tray when passing through security.
3. During the Flight:
- Seat Selection: You can select your seat in advance for your comfort during the flight. It is important to follow the flight crew’s instructions.
- Seatbelt: You must keep your seatbelt fastened during take-off and landing.
4. Landing and Arrival:
- Collecting Luggage: Upon arrival, you do not need to collect your cabin luggage yourself. You can collect your hold luggage from the baggage reclaim area. Check your luggage tag when collecting your luggage.
- Customs and Passport Control: On international flights, you may need to go through customs and passport control. Ensure you have the necessary documents and forms ready.
5. Emergencies:
- Emergency Information: Review the safety card in front of your seat to familiarise yourself with emergency procedures. Do not hesitate to ask the cabin crew any questions.
This information will help ensure your first flight experience is more comfortable and hassle-free. Should you have any questions or require assistance, our customer service team will be happy to help.
