How do I check in at the airport?

Arrival at the airport:

• For international flights, it is recommended that you arrive at the airport 3 hours before your flight time; for domestic flights, 2 hours beforehand. This allows sufficient time for check-in, security, and customs procedures.

Proceeding to the Check-in Counter:

• Go to your airline’s check-in counter. These counters are usually marked on the airport map.

Presenting Identification and Booking Details:

• Present a valid form of identification (passport, ID card or driving licence) and your booking reference or ticket. You can obtain this information from your email confirmation or mobile app.

Baggage Drop-off:

• If you have checked-in luggage, hand it in at the check-in counter. A tag will be attached to your luggage. Some airlines may charge an additional fee for luggage.

Boarding Pass Collection:

• Once check-in is complete, you will receive your boarding pass. This pass contains your flight details, seat number and boarding gate.

Security and Immigration Checks:

• Proceed through security by presenting your boarding pass and ID. You may need to pass your hand luggage through an X-ray machine and walk through a metal detector. For international flights, you may need to go through passport and visa checks.

Proceeding to the Gate:

• Proceed to the boarding gate indicated on your boarding pass. The gate number may change depending on the latest status of your flight, so please check the screens at the airport.

Boarding and Disembarking:

• At the aircraft boarding gate, you can board the aircraft by presenting your boarding pass. Upon arrival at the gate, the cabin crew will scan or check your boarding pass.
